So...
After skimming through a few art books, and not finding anything too interesting, iv decided to make my own 'paintings'. These will be photographs with a few Photoshop filters on them. Now I know that most graphic designers can pick up a PS filter a mile away, so ill be editing the pictures with the paint brush tool to ad in some extra details. Using pictures will make is soooooooooo much easier, I also think it will look much better mainly because I can have different angles on the shots.
Well, I'm excited.

Might be worth checking out some of the creative commons / deviant art / other art sites on the net to see if there is anything there *shrug*. I guess the advantage of creating your own is that you can edit as much as you like though
